Iannis E. Adamopoulos, D.Phil.

Co-founder, Advisory Board Member

Dr. Adamopoulos is a tenured Associate Professor at UC Davis at the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr Adamopoulos received an Honors degree from the University of Surrey, an MPhil from University College London before completing his DPhil at Wolfson College, University of Oxford. Prior to joining University of California he held appointments at the drug discovery program of Schering-Plough Biopharma & MERCK, California, USA. He has world renowned expertise in cytokine regulation of autoimmunity and currently serves in the scientific advisory boards and of many organizations including major pharmaceuticals and biotechnology start-ups, as well as national research organizations including the National Institutes of Health and Department of Defense in the US as well as the national medical research of UK (MRC), New Zealand (AMRF), Holland (Rheumafonds), Poland (NCN), Switzerland, as well as leading scientific societies and journals.

Tagkopoulos Ilias, Ph.D.

Co-Founder, Managing Partner

Dr. Tagkopoulos is a leading expert in Computational Science and Bioinformatics with a focus in biomedical and business applications. He is a tenured Associate Professor of Computer Science and Genome Center, University of California, Davis. Prior joining University of California, Ilias was an associate of Credit Suisse, NY, working on fixed income derivatives models and tools. Ilias holds a Diploma from University of Patras, a MSc from Columbia University and a PhD from Princeton University, all in Electrical Engineering.
